Following the tradition of launching exclusive, limited-run vehicles on the anniversary of ‘Jeep Beach’, Jeep has lifted covers off from the Wrangler High Tide and Wrangler Jeep Beach special-edition models.
Jeep announced these two limited-run models based on the Wrangler off-road SUV to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Jeep Beach week’ in Daytona Beach, Florida, one of the largest Jeep vehicle events held annually. The deliveries of these two special-edition versions of the Wrangler will commence on the sidelines of Jeep Beach Week in April 2023.
Jeep has also announced the prices of the Wrangler High Tide and Wrangler Jeep Beach special-edition models while making them available for order. While the Wrangler High Tide edition has been priced at $51,450, the Wrangler Jeep Beach edition has come in at $54,040 (both prices are excluding the destination charges).
The Wrangler Jeep Beach edition is essentially a more kitted version of the Wrangler ‘High Tide’ edition. Both these exclusive editions of Jeep Wrangler will be available in six exterior color options – High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Bright White, Black, Sting Gray, and Punk’n. Jeep will manufacture only 500 units of the Wrangler Jeep Beach Edition, thus making it a limited-run model.
The Best Features Of The Jeep Wrangler High Tide
The Jeep Wrangler High Tide edition takes the Sport S variant of the Jeep Wrangler as its base. It comes standard with the combination of the 3.6-liter Pentastar naturally-aspirated V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, which produces 285 hp. It gets a host of off-road features and kit for extreme off-road capabilities, including driving effortlessly on the loose sands of a beach.
The Jeep Wrangler’ High Tide’ edition comes with Jeep’s ‘Xtreme Recon’ package as standard, which includes add-ons like 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires, 17-by-8-inch Beadlock-capable wheels, and 4.56 rear axle ratio. This kit also includes a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks and wheel flare extensions, in addition to the Mopar-sourced hinge-gate reinforcement, jack spacer, and tire relocation kit. In addition to the ‘Xtreme Recon’ package, the Jeep Wrangler High Tide edition also gets a body-colored hardtop, Sunrider flip top, LED headlamps and fog lamps, rock rails, sand/slush mats, and ‘High Tide’ decals on the hood.
Since it is based on the Sport S variant of the Jeep Wrangler, the High Tide edition gets standard features like manual air conditioning and seat adjustments, a multi-functional steering wheel with cruise control, and a touchscreen infotainment system with 8-speaker audio system. Additional features in this version include heated rearview mirrors, front and side airbags, ABS with brake assist, traction control, and electronic stability control. Jeep has started accepting orders for the Wrangler High Tide edition this month, which has been priced at $51,450 (excluding the $1,795 destination charge).
Wrangler’ Jeep Beach’ Edition Is A More Spruced-Up Wrangler High Tide Edition
Ahead of the ‘Jeep Beach’ event scheduled to take place in April 2023, Jeep has also announced a more exclusive version of the Wrangler High Tide edition. Titled Wrangler Jeep Beach edition, this limited-run version of the Wrangler High Tide edition commemorates the 20th anniversary of Jeep Beach week.
In addition to all the elements of the Jeep Wrangler High Tide edition mentioned above, the Wrangler Jeep Beach edition will get a few more highlights. The list includes ‘Jeep Beach’ hood decals (in place of ‘High Tide’ decals), body-colored fenders, and a ‘Jeep Beach’ plaque on the swing gate. It also gets Mopar Katzkin leather seats with ‘Jeep Beach’ decals embroidered over them and the ‘Jeep Beach 20th Anniversary’ shifter medallion.
The Wrangler Jeep Beach edition also gets the same set of comfort, convenience, and safety features available in the Wrangler Sport S. Jeep will make only 500 units of the Wrangler’ Jeep Beach’ edition, with all of them priced at $54,040 (excluding the destination charge).
