SEMA is an important platform for carmakers, aftermarket accessory companies, restomod businesses, and, of course, concept car companies. These companies not only bring the coolest and most unique aftermarket components but also get the limelight to showcase their creativity through restoration mods and project cars.

Toyota, being an automobile proponent in the US, brings some of the coolest project cars every year. And this year, both Toyota and Lexus have arrived with some wild project cars, and their lineups are impressively diverse. From a concept hot hatch like the GR Corolla Rally to the monstrous Tundra Trailhunter to the Sequoia-based Overlanders, Toyota seems to have a machine gun pointed at all other contenders.

Toyota has teamed up with 4WD Toyota Owner Media and CBI Offroad Fabrication from Idaho to bring an adventure project build of the Toyota Sequoia known as “The Ultimate Overlanding Sequoia TRD Off-Road.” This highly capable adventure build of the Sequoia is based on the Limited trim but adds some advanced aftermarket parts to make this SUV a better performer for trailing or heading off-road. The TRD Off-Road Overland is undoubtedly one of the coolest Overlanders we have seen this year, and it packs a lot of abilities and surprises. Toyota has also ensured that the adventure-focused Sequoia has a best-in-class lighting system to offer buyers a well-lit ambiance on all occasions. Sequoia Limited already has a decent lighting system, but the OEM lights aren’t enough if you’re planning to head to the wilderness and set up camp to feed your adventure needs. Thus, the team has also partnered with Rigid Industries to equip the Overland with a 20-inch SR LED front bumper light bar, a pair of 4-inch front driving lights, SR-M flush mount bumper lights, and a 50-inch roof rack LED bar to keep the path illuminated in all conditions. The advanced lighting condition helps create a brighter ambiance to improve driving conditions for the driver. All the lights and other electronics can be controlled via the BantamX sPOD, which offers an 8-way circuit and a touchscreen for ease of use.
